Every Line Has a Story

For more than two decades, Clay Clary has been finding his own way of seeing the natural world—and putting it to paper. What began with an idle pen, a few experimental lines, and a fascination with animals gradually developed into a distinctive style built around movement, geometry, and the character of each living subject. Along the way, Clay’s art has grown with him, shaped by family, faith, curiosity, and the moments in nature that are easy to overlook. Today, some of his newest pieces even revisit subjects he first drew more than twenty years ago, revealing not only how his technique has changed, but the story of the artist he has become.
